Budi Darmadi, Director General of High Technology-Based Industries (IUBTT) Ministry of Industry, said that for the specification of commercial vehicle components in the domestic level (DCL) reaches 80%, whereas for the type of multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) by 70%.

"Now it looks we are able to make it, it's just that for some brands like Mercedes and BMW is low," he said on the sidelines of the exhibition helatan Indonesia International Motor Show 2014, in Jakarta, Thursday (18/9).
According to him, the industry is now known as mold and dies with the stronger evidenced by the 120 companies engaged in the field.

"Nevertheless, we still begin able to produce close-range rockets," he added.

INDUSTRIAL MILITARY
Harry Sampurno, President Director of PT Dahana, said the ability of the military industry will be stronger if the government provide protection and ensure the uptake of their products.
"The existence of primary weapons systems to the production of industrial raw materials has been established in Indonesia, staying current government support and protection in order to keep growing industry," he said.
According to business records, in 2015 the level of local content and components used machine mold and dies industry reached 60%.
From da ta Indonesia Mold and Dies Industry Association (IMDIA) at the 2009 level of 30% local content engines and continues to increase until in 2013 50% localization engine components. In Indonesia there are 414 companies mold and dies. The details are as many as 256 from Indonesia, Japan 118 and the rest comes from South Korea.
