Plastic Moulds and DieCasting showed Independence

JAKARTA-Manufacture of plastic molds and aluminum in the automotive sector showed independence with domestic component level on most of the products have penetrated 50%.

Budi Darmadi, Director General of High Technology-Based Industries (IUBTT) Ministry of Industry, said that for the specification of commercial vehicle components in the domestic level (DCL) reaches 80%, whereas for the type of multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) by 70%.

According to him, the industry is now known as mold and dies with the stronger evidenced by the 120 companies engaged in the field.

According to business records, in 2015 the level of local content and components used machine mold and dies industry reached 60%.
